Student Absences

Everyone is mindful of how quickly illness can spread through a class or the school and that there are times when occasional absences are unavoidable.

It is important to note that if your child is ill, keep them home. Please do not send a sick child to school hoping that they may get better. Err on the side of caution, and keep your child home to help prevent others from becoming sick.

Reporting an Absence

Please report your child's absence in advance using any of these 3 convenient methods:

  • Using your mobile device.
    • Download and install the SchoolMessenger app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store (links below). The first time you use the app, select Sign Up to create your account.  Select Attendance then Report an Absence

  • Use the SafeArrival website.
    • The first time you use the website, select Sign Up (link below) to create your account.  Select Attendance then Report an Absence
