Athletics

Chilliwack Middle School has an outstanding history in athletics including numerous Fraser Valley and Upper Fraser Valley titles and most importantly, a high participation rate by the student body.

At CMS we offer a wide variety of extra-curricular sports programs open to all students. The philosophy of the Athletics Department is to encourage every CMS student to participate in as many different sports activities offered to enhance their education, fitness level and general middle school experience.

Athletic Fee Charge Explanation 

The fees collected are primarily used as follows......

• Membership costs to the Athletic Association in our district
• Registration of all teams with BC School Sports
• Payment for officials for games
• Transportation costs to venues
• Offset costs to replace uniforms that are torn, misplaced, etc.
• Offset costs to purchase new equipment as needed for the respective sport
• Entry fees for tournaments, competitions, etc.
