Folded Pages Craft Club 2018-19

LET'S DO SOME ORIGAMI!

Thursday, Jan. 14th at lunch

Bring your own origami books and online instructions or make origami monkeys to celebrate the upcoming Chinese new year (and the year of the monkey)!  Who knows, maybe we'll feel so inspired that we can even hold a "Folded Pages Origami Exhibit"!

BOOK PAGE HANGING ORNAMENTS

Thurs. Dec. 10th at lunchtime in the library

Our second seasonal craft for this time of year will be some book page hanging ornaments. Come make one or make a few!

PAPERBACK CHRISTMAS TREES

Our next craft activity is on Thurs. Dec. 3rd at lunch time!

Sign up in the library to make your own Christmas tree out of recycled book, magazine or flyer pages!

LITERARY BROOCHES

Our first craft event is on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2018 at lunch time in the library!

(The literary brooch idea was a pinterest find, shamelessly borrowed from Buzzfeed. Check out website here.)

Come out and make a book brooch of your favourite classic. Then you can wear it with pride or gift it to your favourite reader.  Be sure to sign up and give your book title to Mrs. Humphries by the end of the day on Fri. Oct.2nd!
